Your answer to a recent question re:lack of sleep and parkinsons was to try taking 1.5 tablet (7.5mg)of melatonin. This, I am doing, but is it a safe dose to take for the long term?

Dear Norton,

There are no scientifical studies about long-term intake of melatonin. But I can tell you about the feedback our clients give us. We know many cases who take melatonin now since many years and who don't see any side-effects.
In the US melatonin is now available on the market for about 20 years and yet there are not any news about melatonin related to negative side- or long-term-effects.
Best regards,
