I have been told by a pharmacy in Italy while on holiday that Melatonina complex has no chemicals compare to it's Spanish rival, Dormedina. Is this correct please?

Dear Marie,
Dormidina is sleeping pill containing doxylamine. It is an antihistamine with the a sedative side-effect, so it can be used as a sleeping pill. Please consider the many side effects of Dormidina which are dry mouth, urinary retension, psycosis and many more.
Melatonin is not a sleeping pill, but a natural remedy that helps catching sleep at night, since melatonin is a hormone that indicates the body that it is night and makes you feel sleepy. Melatonin has many beneficiary effects since it resyncronizes the endocrine system.
