I take regularly melatonin against my insomnia and ever since I take it, I'm feeling fine and I sleep well. Sometimes at night I wake up but fall asleep immediately. I wanted to know if that is reducing the positive effect of the melatonin in some way?

do you know how many times every person wakes up every night without even noticing it? Statistics say 28 times!
No, waking up doesn't diminish the effect of melatonin, but you shouldn't switch on the lights or look at cell phone display since that could inhibit you endogenous melatonin production.
